PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION

January 17, 2006

      The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – January 17, 2006 at 9:30 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of January 10, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl and Ziegeldorf. Absent: Marcus.

      The minutes of January 3, 2006 and January 10, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.

      Commissioners met with all Department Heads to go over the 2006 General Policy.

      Moved by Ziegeldorf, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve Conditional Use Permit application of Huron Steel Structures, Inc dba Huron Redi Mix to continue to operate redi mix plant in an area zoned I-2 (General Industrial) Legal Outlots 2 & 3, a part of the W2 of the SW4 of the NE4 Section 5-110-61. (Custer Township)

      Moved by Ziegeldorf, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve letter of support for Northeast South Dakota Community Action Program for application on Housing Preservation Program Grant.

      Bonnie Dosch and Julie Miller, nurses from Community Health office met with the Board to give their fourth quarter report for 2005.

      On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on January 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
