PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
MARCH 9, 2006
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Thursday – March 9, 2006 pursuant to adjournment of March 3, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Marcus, Dahl and Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of February 28, 2006 and March 3, 2006 were approved as corrected.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Ziegeldorf. Motion carried. To approve for Curt’s Heating & Cooling to replace burner programmer on the boiler at the Correctional Center at a cost of $2,300.00.
Moved by Ziegeldorf, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 10:39 a.m. to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Mattke declared Executive Session over at 11:29 a.m.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve to hire Cindie Almond as full time Juvenile Detention Center jailor effective March 27, 2006.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 11:35 a.m. to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Mattke declared Executive Session over at 11:45 a.m.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Ziegeldorf. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 03-01-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for Extension Office Postage. The following item will be reimbursed for monies expended in the 2006 Budget year.
101 611.426.11 Extension Postage $ 1,419.77
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the items set forth above.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Ziegeldorf. Motion carried. To approve to appoint Larry Mattke as the County Commissioner representative to NESDCAP to replace Randy Ziegeldorf.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 1:02 p.m. to conduct job interviews for Beadle County Highway Superintendent. Chairman Mattke declared Executive Session over at 4:24 p.m.
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on Tuesday – March 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
