PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
APRIL 11, 2006
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – April 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of March 30, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl, Marcus and Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of March 30, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
Moved by Ziegeldorf, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 04-10-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for Juvenile Justice Accountability Incentive Block Grant. The following item will be added to the 2006 Budget year.
101 151.422 States Attorney Services $ 900.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the item set forth above.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 04-02-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for US Department of Justice (DOJ) 2005 Homeland Security Equipment Grant. The following item will be reimbursed for monies expended as follows:
2006 Budget
226 222.429.04 Emergy Mgmt DOG Grant $ 7,532.05
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the item set forth above.

RESOLUTION 04-03-06
“RECONVEYANCE”
WHEREAS, the Tax Deed to the following described real property to-wit: East Fifty Nine Feet (E59’), of Lot Nine (9), and East Thirty-Eight Feet (E38’) of South Thirty Four Feet (S34’) of Lot Ten (10) and West Twenty One Feet (W21’) of East Fifty Nine Feet (59’) of South Forty Feet (S40’) of Lot Ten (10), Block Two (2), Pettigrew’s Addition, City of Huron, Beadle County, South Dakota, was taken for unpaid taxes, and,
WHEREAS, the record owners therefore paid Beadle County Treasurer all taxes, interest and cost represented in such years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the above described real property shall be reconveyed to Garon & Gehan S Wheeler the owners of record therefore in the manner as provided by SDCL 10-25-41, after the time for appeal for such resolution has expired.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Ziegeldorf. Motion carried. To approve to set public hearing date of April 27, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. for Alcoholic Beverage License for Burke Trucking at 20942 410th Avenue Cavour SD.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve 2005 Abatement of $1,154.38 on Western Properties Lot 1, a replat of Schumacher Lot in the NW4, NW4 Section 6-110-61 Outlots Huron City (Record #15074) owned by Sancom Inc (June 10-December 31, 2005) Property to be centrally assessed by state.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Ziegeldorf. Motion carried. To approve to appoint Linda Marcus as Beadle County Representative to the Aberdeen Brown County Regional Railway Authority Board.
Adjourned at 11:49 a.m. as Board of Beadle County Commissioners and Convened as Board of Equalization at 11:50 a.m..
Adjourned at 12:00 p.m. as Board of equalization and convened as Board of Beadle County Commissioners at 12:01 p.m.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 12:03 p.m. to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Mattke declared Executive Session over at 12:30 p.m.
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on April 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
