PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
JUNE 8, 2006
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Thursday – June 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of May 31, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl, Marcus and Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of May 31, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
The Board canvassed ballots from the Primary Election of June 6, 2006. No change in the results.
Pat Tschetter, Director of Equalization met with the Board to inform them that HOC Properties V. Inc would be appealing to the office of Hearing Examiners in Pierre on June 26, 2006.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve to hire Doug Broderson as patrol operator at the Beadle County Highway Department for blading north west Beadle County.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 06-01-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota Department for Juvenile Justice Accountability Incentive Block Grant. The following items will be added to the 2006 Budget year.
101 151.422 States Attorney Services $ 2,700.00
101 151.427 States Attorney Travel 1,392.60
Total 4,092.60
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the items set forth above.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 06-02-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for Extension Office Postage. The following item will be reimbursed for monies expended in the 2006 Budget.
101 611.426.11 Extension Postage $ 1,419.77
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the items set forth above.
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on June 13, 2006 at 9:00 a.m.
