The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Thursday August 31, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of August 22, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl and Marcus. Absent: Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of August 22, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.

Moved by Marcus, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve recommendation of Dakotaland Museum Board to hire Charnelle Scheel as Dakotaland/Pyle House Director; effective September 1, 2006 with 30 hours per week and at a rate of $10.40 per hour.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve to lift the Burn Ban for all of Beadle County Effective August 31, 2006.
