PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
OCTOBER 10, 2006
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – October 10, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of September 28, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl and Marcus. Absent: Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of Joint meeting with the City September 25 and Regular Commission meeting of September 28, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve for Highway Unions AFSCME Local 169 contract Addendum dated October 10, 2006 that on a 1 year trail basis. The provisions of Section 19.07 shall be extended to include all of November and December of 2006 and all of January, February and March of 2007. During this period the regular hours of work shall consist of 10 hours per day. The regular work week shall consist of 4 consecutive days, Monday thru Thursday, inclusive. Ten consecutive hours of work shall constitute a work shift: All employees shall be scheduled to work from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To set October 31, 2006 as bid date for One Trailer-Hydraulic Detachable Lowboy.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve to purchase a microfilmer from Active Data Systems in the amount of $1,995.00 for the Register of Deeds.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve Citizens Corp Agreement Grant (CERT) in the amount of $4,579.55 for Home Land Security 2006 grant year.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve US Department of Interior Joint Funding Agreement for operation and maintenance of the gaging station on the James River near Redfield, in the amount of $1,083.00 pending all other agencies agree.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve gas quotes from Raymond Oil for ½ transport unleaded gas at $1.8745 per gallon and ½ transport dyed fuel at $1.8675 per gallon other quotes received as follows:
McGillvrey Oil ½ transport unleaded gas $2.0724 per gallon
½ transport #2 dyed fuel $1.9046 per gallon
Yale Farmers Coop ½ transport unleaded gas $2.128 per gallon
½ transport #2 dyed fuel $1.942 per gallon
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on October 17, 2006 at 9:00 a.m.
