PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
OCTOBER 24, 2006
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – October 24, 2006 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of October 17, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl, Marcus and Ziegeldorf.
The minutes of October 17, 2006 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve hiring Lana Spencer as jailor in the Juvenile Detention Center effective November 6, 2006.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve to have roof repairs done on the Correction Center by Pro-Tec Roofing and Sheet Metal in the amount of $1,283.00.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 10-01-06
“PLAT OF M & K OUTLOT 1, A PART
OF THE SW4 OF SECTION 32-112-65”
On recommendation of the Beadle County Planning Commission: BE IT RESOLVED: by the Board of Beadle County Commissioners that the plat of “M & K Outlot 1, a part of the SW4 of Section 32-112-65”, West of the 5th P.M.,
Beadle County, South Dakota, as described above and drawn hereon be approved and accepted and the Auditor hereby is instructed to endorse on such plat a copy of this resolution and to certify the same.

RESOLUTION 10-02-06
“PLAT OF KLEINSASSER OUTLOT
LOCATED IN THE N2 OF THE NE4 OF
SECTION 11-110-61”
On recommendation of the Beadle County Planning Commission: BE IT RESOLVED: by the Board of Beadle County Commissioners that the plat of “Kleinsasser Outlot 1 located in the N2 of the NE4 of Section 11-110-61”, West of
the 5th P.M., Beadle County, South Dakota, as described above and drawn hereon be approved and accepted and the Auditor hereby is instructed to endorse on such plat a copy of this resolution and to certify the same.

RESOLUTION 10-03-06
“PLAT OF GLANZER OUTLOT 1,
A PART OF THE NE4 OF
SECTION 13-113-60”
On recommendation of the Beadle County Planning Commission: BE IT RESOLVED: by the Board of Beadle County Commissioners that the plat of “Glanzer Outlot 1, a part of the NE4 of Section 13-113-60, West of the 5th P.M., Beadle County, South Dakota, as described above and drawn hereon be approved and accepted and the Auditor hereby is instructed to endorse on such plat a copy of this resolution and to certify the same.

RESOLUTION 10-04-06
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for Juvenile Justice Accountability Incentive Block Grant. The following item will be added to the 2006 Budget year.
101 151.422 State Attorney Services $ 3,600.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the items set forth above.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Dahl. Motion carried. To approve to transfer HMLS equipment to Huron Amateur Radio Club in the amount of $24,673.09.
Moved by Ziegeldorf, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve transfer of HMLS equipment to Beadle-Jerauld Red Cross in the amount of $6,936.09 with the stipulation that all equipment purchased will revert back to Beadle County if entity closes.
Moved by Dahl, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve 2007 State and Local Agreement for Emergency Management between State of South Dakota and Beadle County.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve for Chairman to sign agreement with NACO for Beadle County Prescription Drug Cards to be available approximately January 1, 2007. This is for reduced prescription drugs for Beadle County residents with no cost to Beadle County.
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on October 31, 2006 at 9:00 a.m.
