PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION

NOVEMBER 1, 2006

      The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Wednesday – November 1, 2006 at 12:30 p.m., pursuant to adjournment of October 31, 2006 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Dahl, Marcus and Ziegeldorf.

      Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve bid of JD Evans for One (1) Trailer – Hydraulic Detachable Lowboy, 50/55 in the amount of $52,874.00 as lowest bid, repairs location closet and in the best interest of Beadle County.

      At 11:00 a.m. a Public Hearing was held in the small Court Room to consider variance request of Marshall Brothers to allow a Class A concentrated animal feeding operation to be within one half mile of the neighbors. Vice Chairman Chase conducted the hearing. Items presented are on file on video at the Beadle County States Attorney’s Office.

      Moved by Dahl, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To delay action for further review on November 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.
