PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION

JANUARY 23, 2006

     The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – January 23, 2007 at 9:30 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of January 9, 2007 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chairman Chase, Marcus, Drake and Werner.

     The minutes of January 9, 2007 were approved as amended.

     Moved by Marcus, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 9:35 a.m. to discuss personnel matters. Chairman Mattke declared Executive Session over at 10:06 a.m.

     Moved by Chase, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve the Beadle County LEPC roster for 2007 as presented by Tom Moeding, Beadle County Emergency Management Director. (complete copy on file in the Auditor’s Office)

     Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve Chairman Mattke to sign contract agreement SD Wheat Growers for stock piling of chips on their property north of Wolsey.

     Moved by Werner, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve to submit the name of Beverly J. Katz, Attorney at Law for position of Chairperson of the Beadle County Development Disabilities Review Board to Judge David R. Gienapp.

     Moved by Chase, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve quote from McGillvrey Oil for 5,600 gallons of #1 dyed diesel at $1.8956 per gallon and 3,100 gallons of unleaded at $1.6873 per gallon. Quote also received from Yale Coop #1 dyed diesel at $2.039 per gallon and unleaded at $1.759 per gallon. No quote from Raymond Oil.

     On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on January 31, 2007 at 9:30 a.m.
