PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
JUNE 5, 2007
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – June 5, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of May 31, 2007 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chair Marcus, Chase, Drake and Werner.
The minutes of May 31, 2007 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
Moved by Marcus, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve to hire Donald Mohr and Joshua Hofer as mower/flaggers at the Beadle County Highway Department at a rate of $10.65 per hour.
Adjourn to meet as Drainage Board at 9:45 a.m. Reconvene as Board of Commissioners at 11:45 a.m.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve agreement with the Department of Corrections for housing of juveniles at the Beadle County Juvenile Detention Center from June 1, 2007 – May 31, 2008 at a rate of $125.00 per day.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve service agreement with Brenda Sievers to do the billings for the Beadle County Weed & Pest Board starting June 1, 2007 for a consideration of $300.00 per month.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To change mileage rate for miles traveled from .32 cents per mile to .37 cents per mile effective July 1, 2007.
On motion the Board adjourned to meet next on June 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m.
