PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 11, 2007


The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday – September 11, 2007 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of September 4, 2007 with members present: Chairman Mattke, Vice Chair Marcus, Chase, Drake and Werner.


The minutes of September 4, 2007 were approved as read with no additions or changes.


Terry Zell, Department of Legislative Audits met with the Board to go over procedures of compliance with SAS -112 and a written comment of the audit of 2005-2006.


Doug Schmitt - Huron City Police Chief met with the board to give E911 updates.


Moved by Werner, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve for Sheriff’s Department to purchase two – 2003 Ford Crown Victoria’s from South Dakota Federal Surplus at $10,700 each.


Adjourned at 10:59 a.m. to convene as Drainage Board at 11:00 a.m.


Reconvene as Board of Commission at 11:15 a.m.


Moved by Marcus, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve for Jerry Batien, Beadle County Highway Superintendent to attend Regional County Road Conference in Rapid City on October 17 & 18, 2007.


Moved by Werner, seconded by Marcus. Motion carried. To approve equipment transfer of 2006 HMLS Equipment to Edmunds County in the amount of $42,731.84.


On motion the Board adjourned to next on September 27, 2007 at 9:00 a.m.
