PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
JULY 30, 2008
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Wednesday – July 30, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of July 23, 2008 with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Chase, Drake, Mattke and Werner. Also present: Commissioner Elect District 2 – Rick Benson.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Mattke. To approve to purchase Five (5) 140 M Caterpillar Motor graders off of Fall River County Bid of October 16, 2007. Total cost bid proposal of $194,675.00 each.
Three (3) Motor graders to include:
2 foot blade extension $1,677.00
Deduct total cost bid performance bond -1,719.00
7 years 7500 hours total machine warranty including mileage 4,140.00
12 foot hyd snow wing 15,484.00
Rear mounted ripper scarifer 10,898.00
14.OR24 MXSNO plus tires in lieu of 14.or24 BS BS VUT tires 4,200.00
Financing 3.75% - 7 years
Two (2) Motor graders to include:

Commissioner Werner was absent for afternoon meeting.
Commissioners and Elected Officials met to go over items for union negotiations.
