PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 2, 2008
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday - September 2, 2008 at 7:45 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of August 28, 2009 with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Chase, Drake, Mattke and Werner.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve to go into Executive Session at 8:30 pm to discuss union contract negations. Chairman Marcus declared Executive Session over at 10:10 am.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve for Jerry Batien, Beadle County Highway Superintendent to attend the 23rd Regional Local Road Conference in Rapid City – October 28-30, 2008.
At 10:00 a.m. the Hearing for the 2009 Provisional Budget was held and no one appeared. Second and final hearing to be held September 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
Ralph Borkowski, City Planner, met with the Board to discuss proposed changes to the joint jurisdictional ordinance. Ralph will take their recommendation back to the Joint Planning Commission for consideration.
The Board adjourned to meet next on September 12, 2008 at 12:00 noon.
