PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 12, 2008
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Friday – September 12, 2008 at 12:00 noon, pursuant to adjournment of September 2, 2008 with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Chase, Drake, Mattke and Werner.
The minutes of September 2, 2008 were approved as read with no additions or changes.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To adopt the following resolution:
RESOLUTION 09-01-08
“GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET”
WHEREAS, unanticipated reimbursements were received from the State of South Dakota for the SD Department of Health Pandemic Influenza Community Planning Grant. The following item will be reimbursed for monies expended as follows:
2008 Budget
226 222.429.03 Emerg Pandemic Influenza Planning $ 30,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Beadle County Commissioners do hereby propose, make and move for adoption of this Grant Supplemental Budget in the items set forth above.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Mattke. Motion carried. To approve to waive interest and penalties in the amount of $287.53 on W25’ of Lots 12, 13, 14 and W25’ of S15’ of Lot 11, Block 8 Original Town, Huron City. Owner city of Huron.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Chase. Motion carried. To approve Corrective Deed for Richard E Peterson on the SE4 Section 14, Vernon Township and Commission authorizes Beadle County Treasurer and Beadle County Auditor to issue any future corrective deeds as needed.
Commissioners reviewed union negotiations with Mike Moore, Beadle County States Attorney.
The Board adjourned to meet next on September 25, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.
