PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
NOVEMBER 10, 2008
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Monday – November 10, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., pursuant to adjournment of November 6, 2008 with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Chase, Drake, Mattke and Werner by phone.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Mattke. Motion carried. To approve quote for recondition diesel fuel pump from Sioux Equipment for Beadle County Highway Department in the amount of $3,220.00.
Moved by Chase, seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve buried cable application filed by Qwest to bore under 192nd Street in Section 16, Barrett Township.
Moved by Mattke, seconded by Werner. Motion carried. To approve to purchase two 2009 Sterling LT9500 Trucks off of State Bid #24091 (Boyer Trucks) in the amount of $100,055 each; two – 15’ Crysteel Dump Body & Hoist off of State Bid #24091 (Northern Truck Equipment) in the amount of $32,112 each; two – 12’ Monroe Reversible Plow off of State Bid #24091 (Northern Truck Equipment) in the amount of $6,948.00 each; two – 14’ Mild Steel V Box Spreader off of State Bid #24091 (Northern Truck Equipment) in the amount of $9,116.00 each.
Moved by Mattke seconded by Drake. Motion carried. To approve to add options as listed below the amounts added to above prices making each Truck, Box, Reversible Plow and V Box Spreader total $161,512.00 each.
