PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER 8, 2009
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 9:00 am, pursuant to adjournment of September 1, 2009 with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Drake, Benson, Mattke and Werner.
The Minutes of September 1, 2009 were approved.
Tom Beerman, Beadle County Sheriff and Doug Solem Chief Deputy met with the board to discuss what the board wants them to do regarding the 2000 Ford Crown Victoria that needs approximately $3,000.00 of work done to it. After reviewing several options, the board decided to have Federal Surplus notify the Sheriff’s Office when the 2006 Ford Crown Victoria arrives so the Commissioners can look at the car and decided at that time.
The Board of Commissioners met with the Department Heads to review the policies and procedures that are in each office.
Moved by Werner, seconded by Benson, motion carried. To go into Executive Session at 11:15 a.m. Chairman Marcus declared Executive Session over at 12:05 p.m.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Mattke, motion carried. To set bid date for September 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for labor and materials to shape the existing roadway, repair soft spots and install county furnished gravel surfacing on 17 miles of Beadle County Highways in the Northeast corner of the County.
The Board adjourned to meet next on September 8, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
