SPECIAL MEETING
The Board of Beadle County Commissioners met Monday, October 19, 2009 at 10:00 am, for a special meeting with members present: Chairman Marcus, Vice Chairman Drake and Mattke. Absent were Benson and Werner.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Mattke, motion carried to accept the offer from Keystone Pipeline Company in the amount of Four Hundred Eleven Thousand Five Hundred ($411,500.00) in full payment and settlement for all damages to Beadle County 418th Avenue a twelve mile asphalt surfaced road from 196th Street to 208th Street and authorize Chairman Marcus to sign the Release of Damage Claims.
Moved by Mattke, seconded by Drake, motion carried to approve the bid of September 30, 2009 from Asphalt Paving with Option 1 in the amount of $486,343.96 because of the settlement with Keystone Pipeline Company for labor and materials to install an asphalt leveling course on 12 miles of 418th Avenue from 196th Street to 208th St, Beadle County Highway 39, beginning at U.S. Highway 14 on 418th Avenue.
The Board adjourned to meet next on October 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
