PROCEEDINGS OF THE BEADLE COUNTY DRAINAGE BOARD
MAY 27, 2010
The Beadle Board of Drainage met on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with members present: Chair Werner, Vice Chair Drake, Mattke and Benson. Absent was Marcus.
Moved by Drake, seconded by Benson, motion carried to Extend time for Highway Department to repair ditch between the Southwest and Southeast quarter of Section 17 -111-62 (Theresa Township).
The Board had requested Mr. Doolittle to appear and present to the Board a plan for the drainage issue in the NW1/4 of Section 18 and SW1/4 of Section 17 in Theresa Township – for the Drainage issue that was heard on May 10, 2010.
Since Mr. Doolittle did not attend the meeting, the Board will discuss legal ramifications on June 10, 2010.
The Board asked Mike Moore, Beadle County States’ Attorney to check into Mr. Doolittle Vested Drainage that was filed in the Register of Deeds Office on June 30, 1992 in Book 486 page 258 for legality of owner of record.
The Board adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
